Guanaco are native to South America and can be found at altitudes ranging from sea level in Tierra del Fuego to 4000m along the Andes of Northern Chile, Peru and Argentina.
Guanaco is one of the world’s most exclusive fibers, renowned as being among the finest natural fibers in the world, very similar to Vicuña. Guanaco are a uniform cinnamon color producing a fiber that is silky smooth to handle, finer than cashmere and has thermal properties 3 times greater than wool.
This boxed set from Peru features a black brushed scarf that is beyond unique. 100% Guanaco that is second only to Vicuña in fineness. Legally imported each scarf has CITES Certification included along with an informational booklet. The scarf measures 12” by 71” (including fringe) and is a beautiful black.
