Whether it is a fine hand loomed alpaca sweater or a rare and valuable textile that caught our eye we offer only the best. Our business principles are founded on Fair Trade and supporting sustainable ventures intended to add value to local communities. We provide a route to a market that many artisans don't currently have available. We do not have a warehouse full of goods and our inventory is usually limited. We try to work directly with the artists and crafters and, by the very nature of their creations, quantities are often limited.
We also offer unique and highly prized products such as Italian spun Vicuna stoles by Michell SA.
Supported by a group of friends that include two veterinarians, an old school Yale grad and a young German entrepreneur, Pine40.com is truly unique.
Pine40.com plans to offer a collection of home accents in partnership with our friend Martin's store La Cordillera in La Paz.
These will include unique textiles including alpaca throws and other hand crafted items from the Bolivian Highlands.
